October Cybersecurity Awareness Month 2023

OCTOBER CYBERSECURITY AWARENESS MONTH

Cybersecurity Awareness Month (CAM) was launched by the National Cyber Security Alliance and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in October 2004 as a broad effort to help all Americans stay safer and more secure online. The initiative has since spread to become a global movement of public and private institutions coming together to open up conversations, create synergies and develop solutions for a cyber safe nations.

The rapid advancement of the Internet, cloud computing, the Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence, and other digital innovations has revolutionized how we live, work, and communicate. However, this interconnectivity has also introduced new complexities and vulnerabilities, leaving us exposed to a plethora of cyber threats with far-reaching implications across various aspects of modern life.
